Asaf Avidan @ Megaron: A real one man show.

A solo concert which was no solo at all with an audience of around 1600 people!

In the fully crowded Alexandra Trianti Hall at Megaron Concert Hall, Asaf Avidan once again was back in Athens to perform his amazing songs with his unique voice, leaving speechless  the great number of people that came to see him on Friday 16th .

The artist from Israel shocked the audience presenting himself with no band, no extreme background lights, no dancers, just himself at the huge stage stage of Megaron, having his guitars and music machines, creating live new beats and sounds.

The audience could not stop showing their love and appreciation at the end of every song!

The singer, as if born in that stage, was really cool, talked to the crowd, made jokes, created live music beats and showed how talented and devoted he is to his art.

After watching this show, one could understand that music is Asaf Avidan’s way of expression of his feelings and that he would do it even if people would not loved him, and would just leave him in the shadow of the music industry.

It is extraordinary how powerful and captivating is this man on stage, with his rock Americana music rhythms, playing on his very own his songs for two hours non stop in front of such a large audience. He was so devoted extroverting and living the lyrics of each song as if he was performing just for himself in his room with no one looking at him. He performed new and old songs. His music magnetized the audience’s attention with no one wanting to leave the room at the end.

Megaron showed a very contemporary face hosting an event like this. A very creative music performer that showed how artistic is creating and performing music. We hope to see him in Athens again soon and that Megaron will continue embracing so great shows.
