Love @ 1st sight: Chairs, lights, furniture and much more! This is CLERKENWELL DESIGN WEEK!
Last week the 4rth Clerkenwell Design Week, the UK’s leading independent design festival, took place in East London. With over 60 showrooms, all day events, talks, workshops and much more, this event was worthy keeping three days booked on my schedule! Including the most innovative brands of european design, one could see new ideas , fresh ways of using or reusing materials as well as be informed for everything new in product design. Many new products from Milan Furniture Fair were included and also the celebrations of Knoll’s 75th anniversary. A very successful exhibition that included objects for every taste.
It is also important to be mentioned that the branding and organisation of the event was excellent! Really good promotion through the website, good organisation for tickets and “labeling” people, nice clear illustrations, informative stickers on the roads for the locations, distinctive branding colour, well organised maps and spaces. Also. The unique historic venues like the House of Detention and the Order of St John and buildings that aren’t ordinarily open to the public gave a special value for the background of the exhibition! Congratulations guys for the amazing job!
